Timeless Tulips - Sympathy Card

I've been trying to put the Timeless Tulips bundle away to work with some of our other fabulous products, but I just can't stop using it......does anyone else have this problem???

I promised myself this would be the LAST card I make with this stamp set & punch....at least for a little while!

I needed a quick sympathy card to send to a loved one, and I was going through a binder and found an old sketch challenge I had participated in -- I was inspired to use that as my layout.

Isn't this just SO pretty?? I LOVE it! I sure am going to miss Lovely Lipstick when it retires in June *sad face*

In order to keep things simple and quick, I made a "template" to stamp and punch out the tulip and leaf:

Punch out the tulip & leaf image.

 Ink your tulip stamp & leaf stamps, and stamp the images onto your cardstock using the template.

 Punch out your images! Easy Peasy!!











I hope you like this card! All the details are below:

PRODUCTS USED:

STAMPS:  Timeless Tulips

INK:  Blushing Bride, Granny Apple Green

CARDSTOCK:  Lovely Lipstick, Blushing Bride, Whisper White

ACCESSORIES:  Tulip Builder punch, Stiched Shapes dies, Layering Circles dies,Tufted Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Stampin' Dimensionals

Measurements:

Lovely Lipstick Base 5 1/2” by 8 1/2”, scored at 4 1/4

Blushing Bride strip - 4-1/4' by 1-1/2"

Whisper White layer - 3-1/8" by 4-1/8"

Lovely Lipstick (embossed) layer - 3" by 4"
Whisper White - 4" by 4" for cutting large circle
                            3" by 3" for tulip and leaf
                            2" by 2" for the greeting

1.  After cutting/scoring all pieces, attach the Blushing Bride strip to the front of the card.
2.  Emboss the Lovely Lipstick layer with the Tufted Dynamic TIEF and adhere to the Whisper White layer. Attach this to the card front.
4.  Cut out the 2nd largest circle from the Stitched Circle dies, and trim off a bit of the edge on one side.
5.  Stamp the stem and leaf in Granny Apple Green onto the circle, and attach to card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
6.  Stamp the tulip in Blushing Bride and leaf in Granny Apple Green onto Whisper White, and punch. (Try using the template I detailed above!)
7.  Adhere the tulip and leaf to the circle with Stampin' Dimensionals.
8.  Stamp the greeting in Blushing Bride and die cut with the circle die that best fits.
9.  Adhere the greeting using Stampin' Dimensionals. DONE!
